As soon as we arrived at the hotel, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery, we knew we had chosen the right place. The hosts (Lauren & Mendo) greeted us upon arrival and their warm welcome made us feel at home from the very beginning. The hospitality continued throughout our stay at the Casa Paco. The incredible view of the mountains from the pool was simply impressive. The pool was everything we had hoped for and more. The breakfast, personally served to us, was absolutely wonderful. It included everything one could wish for and was prepared with so much love. Every morning, we were met by our friendly host, with a big smile on her face. The garden was outstanding and offered an endless assortment of charming seating areas. Each space was carefully designed to create a harmonious and tranquil atmosphere. We would like to express our warm recommendations and gratitude to Lauren & Mendo for the incredible hospitality we experienced during our stay with them. We greatly appreciated the small personal touches, such as taking the time to provide us with tips and recommendations for sights and activities in the area. We left the place with smiles on our faces and warm memories. We hope to return as soon as possible and enjoy their hospitality once again.

    For those who want to see the Cave symbols of Letreros: 1.

    For those who want to see the Cave symbols of Letreros: 1. You can see some from outside, at viewing point BELOW the entrance gate. A narrow street to the place is available, for routine drivers. 2. The regional Interpretation Center (for booking a tour) is often closed, also during their official office times, without notice. And no one will respond to phone calls. In addition, I have booked a tour via official site, got E-mail confirmation - but no one was at the meeting point. Be careful. 3. Beautiful views from the village, beautiful walks in Sierra Maria. 4. Entrance to the fortress is free of charge.

    The hosts where extremely helpful and the location overlooking the valley is superb. The entrance hall and lift to the apartment were very clean and tidy. The living room, bedrooms are reasonably spacious and comfortable. The whole apartment was inviting and the patio especially so. Car parking on the wide road outside was a bonus for Velez Blanco, never had any difficulty finding space.
