We arrived on our bicycles having cycled over the mountain in a downpour and were soaking wet. The lovely manager lit a fire in the bar, provided a warming drink and didn't mind us dripping all over the floor. Nothing was too much bother. Beautiful hotel in a lovely town.

This hostal is situated in a very beautiful, quiet, small mountain village (Salduero), with lovely walks by the River Duero, and easy access to walking/cycling routes in the surrounding forests and mountains. Like many such villages, it is very quiet in winter, but pretty busy in summer. The hostal itself is very comfortable, clean and pleasant, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. It has a good bar/restaurant with a beer garden at front. Also, a private car park. Very recommendable.

    Great location on the main street through the town. The hotel is very clean and has a restaurant and bar. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and spoke quite a bit of English which made life a bit easier. They offered us a parking space in the garage for our motorcycles at 3€ each which was great. The town has lots of options for food and drinks.
