Very spacious room. Bags were carried to our room. Nothing was a bother, and having such excellent English was a bonus for this non Spanish speaker. Excellent for anyone walking the Camino. Very highly recommended

This was the best property I stayed in during the whole camino.

The staff here were warm and welcoming. The albergue was modern, clean and spacious. ‘Great hot and cold drink selection and the communal dinner was delicious. Also a really nice relaxing space for after your walk - yoga mats, rocking chair, hammock seat. I would happily do a rest day here. The albergue makes a really big effort to keep their carbon footprint low as well.

I have stayed at El Manzano on two other occasions as it is in Castrojerez on the Camino de Santiago. The new owner Sabrina and her friend Andres were the most fantastic hosts and I would recommend the hostel to anyone who wants to stop there for the night. Fantastic food and the most hospitable hospitaleira! Fabulous.
