    It’s a lovely seaside resort.

    It’s a lovely seaside resort. Nice walks and VERY good activities for kids. However the restaurants in Kalajoki Port are very limited and after 3 days you will have tried them all. They are “OK” but to be honest our best Finnish meal was at Helsinki airport. I think there’s a real opportunity for a restaurant serving “local” food. The local supermarket does hot food that’s very good value if you are on a budget.

    This small apartment was an oasis for us! We were looking for something very late at night in the off season, when all the hotels were closed, and we came across this beautiful apartment. It is on the top floor in a building with an elevator, which was helpful. The couch and bed were cozy, as was the overall feel of the apartment. While we didn't use the kitchen for cooking, it seemed to have everything one might need.

    Best apartments so far been to in Kalajoki. As a regular visitor to the area, a lot of the other places feel like they rip you off by charging for linen and then making excuses to bill for cleaning when the apartment is in good condition. Not here, though. Absolutely great, modern and clean apartments. Right next to the golf course (if that's your thing) and only a 10 minute walk to the restaurants.

    Exceptionally well-planned apartment, enough space, and you can look at the see from, the sauna, the bed, and the living room. Very nice patio also. Blinds can be drawn if you are shy :) The location is perfect, minor things like Muumin plates is a nice bonus. Been to Kalajoki many times in many different apartments, this was the best so far.

    The hotel is located in a beautiful place.We had an outdoor patio with a view of the ocean and sand dunes.The breakfast had a good variety of food .The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
