The host was incredible. Rami is kind and a very pleasant gentleman. He took care of our million questions and guided us patiently and with a smile. I’m writing this review 2 days after leaving Mäntyharju but my heart is still there. Beautiful village, beautiful house.

It's very comfortable place. Rami is hospitable host and also very good man, who always can help you. We have wonderful memories of this staying. It's also very good that the house is about 10 minutes on foot from railway station, from which you can get train to Helsinki or its airport. I recommend this place for all travelers.

Spotty (the cat) was great host, took great care of us :) People were also friendly and very hospitable :) Breakfast had much of variety and was tasteful, village shop was around the corner. Place was very calm and quiet and views were very beautiful with lake visible from our window. Only regret was that our stay was too short.

You pay a fair price for the super cozy electricity-free and sanitary-free room in the restored and very clean barn of the lodging. A kind of power bank ensures that the digital devices can be charged. In a nearby building, however, completely new sanitary facilities are available. Very unusual and great fun. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. So lovely to be in nature but close to facilities if you wanted them. The breakfast was fab and nothing was too much trouble.

Wonderful week! Last time we had spent there only 1 night, but we had to come back. Once again, it was great experience. The cottage has all you need, especially atmosphere, own lake access, bbq, sauna, boat, etc, etc.

Sleeping in a jurta was a pleasant change during our vacation. It is comfortable, nicely equipped so we felt like at home there. It is in the forest with no direct lake access but the lake shore is just a few steps (and the swim was so good!). The hosts are very nice and the breakfast was just fantastic - a piece of art which tasted very well.
