Good: I liked watching pesäpallo, and the ice cream kiosk...
Good: I liked watching pesäpallo, and the ice cream kiosk near the train station. Other: It astounded me that just 70km inland from Vaasa, pretty much no one spoke Swedish, and their English skills were flimsy too. The downtown area felt old-fashioned in a rusty 1980's way, and local attractions were inconsistently advertised. Food: I dined at Pancho Villa, and at Hesburger. Top tip for shopping: Stay far away from the locally popular Torikeskus (where half the stores have closed), and go to Ideapark 3km away instead.Guest review byImreNorway

We informed the reception and they went to check it while we had dinner. The hotel upgraded our room for a better suite, gave us complimentary snacks and gave us a late check-out for next day without charge. All the time the service was top notch!
