Serenity island was amazing! Frankly speaking, I'm not a very big fan of resorts, but this place was something between an island resort, family place, adventure hideaway... whatever you want to call it, it's there! We were absolutely in love with this place, the only disadvantage-it was too short of a stay! The island is not big, but still, you can get yourself lost and have half of the island just for yourself, feeling remote, but within the reach of spotless hotel amenities. Our beach bungalow had everything we needed, and the view, oh, the view! I could spend my days in the hammock and just stare into the sea and sky... Every day you could choose from a number of activities, mostly on/around the island and for free. Even the simpliest ones, like fish feeding or coconut picking was a lot of fun! Actually when taking part in all of them, there was almost no time left for lazy beach time (and we were initially afraid we'll get bored after whole day of not-doing-anything on the beach!). Restaurant was OK with good food: mix of local and international. But the highlight is the staff: so friendly, smiling, helpful. Almost immediately they know you by your name, you just feel like with family. Serenity island, we miss you dearly!

I don't usually give 10's, but purely for the staff this place deserves one. From the minute we arrived and were drummed in, to the farewell song we received at our last breakfast, every single person working at this resort made us feel so welcome and looked after. We had breakfast and dinner package, so much choice for both and the food was really lovely. We bought lunch at the poolside restaurant most days too, working our way through the plant based menu, everything was delicious. Cocktails lovely. Pools were all nice, we liked that you could use the ones at the Sheraton villas resort next door too. And the adults only one near the gym. Kids club was great, my daughter made an awesome tie dye t shirt with them, and loved dressing like a warrior for the evening fire show. Daily activities were lovely, we did bookmark making and basket weaving during our stay, but loads more on offer. Pool aerobics every morning was really nicely done, had a good atmosphere. Resort is in a great location for doing excursions too. Everything was really clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Do not book into this "resort" if you would like nice and good service, good food and a general feel of comfort. It was all terrible. The pool was under construction which was not said prior. We sat on the beach and listened to a jack hammer for an entire day.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay in Beachcomber, it was a great decision, we wanted to lay down and rest, enjoy the beach, swim and had a good moment to just chill, so it was great to do that in this island. The beach was amazing and so beautiful.

Beautiful island, not too far away from either Denarau or Anchorage. Healthy fringing reefs, white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and killer sunsets. Staff are extremely friendly and genuine. However, things were VERY unorganised. I recommend to pay as you go (bring cash as there's ALWAYS a credit card surcharge), they seem to often find a reason to charge you extra for activities, transfers and other things, trips can be cancelled last minute, etc. I got quite frustrated a few times. Apart from that, the Bula vibes, colourful cocktails and the people you meet there are one of a kind.

Extremely overpriced for what is offered, specially regarding the food. It is horrible and we felt ripped off; stolen in plain sight - we had to go to MalaMala (30min by boat) two days in a row (at extra charges) to be able to eat something decent. We were two families with small children and whilst the island is pretty, you can find way better accomodation for the same price somewhere else. Simply put, don’t stay there. Going afterwards to another resort in the Yasawas saved our entire holidays; highly disappointed with Beachcomber and don’t recommend. Some staff members are lovely (not all), so mostly the fault here sits undoubtedly with the owners of the resort who are profiting from taking advantage of tourists.

Disappointed and not as fun as advertised. The activity center was closed and we were not told about cancellation of activities until 45min after activities were supposed to happen. The communication between staff and guests was horrible.

I had been travelling in the Yasawas for almost 2 weeks before going to Beachcomber so definitely not the best decision, I was after some relaxing time and a bit of comfort but the island was noisy and smelly and the rooms very dark, it seems to be a good place to party and get drunk with other young backpackers and good to move around to other islands or Cloud9, Malamala etc... I booked for 5 nights but decided to leave after the 3rd night back to the Yasawas and that was the best decision.

Everything ran as planned - extra things added if day trippers number was high. We had a newly refurbished water front Bure with lots of privacy and snorkeling right there if it was calm. We learned out side of the island was windy and stormy while the other side was mostly calm. We like having both.
