The staff were great from start to finish. The beaches were amazing, great snorkelling. Food very good, wine list could do with improvement but cocktails and spirits great. Having two beaches is a winner and it’s just a short stroll between both. One for relaxing and sipping cocktails or a drink in the water, kayaking, swimming and snorkeling (though the north beach is way better). Beautiful, easy walks. Staff were wonderful. Buildings are tired, but still fine. Bed was comfortable, water pressure good and there was a safe in the room. The food is very basic and the menu doesn’t change (travel was out of peak season). As a vegetarian it was incredibly limiting and stodgy, my tip is to ask for tofu to be substituted for meat in dishes such as stir fries and nasi goreng. Everything is about 50% more expensive on the island, so if you want treats and alcohol, take them with you! I’d go back.Guest review byKateAustralia

Very much reflective of real rural islander Fijian life and its challenges. Good entertainment, food generally good for the price. The most important thing for me and the family (teenagers) is that it is right in the village, with possibilities to meet others beyond a resort,a nd for my boy to find rugby mates for a play every evening.
