Right on the GR70 route. For a two star hotel this place is great. Good food and bar, quiet clean comfortable room, friendly staff. I cannot think of any reason not to stay here.

Régine and Jean Michel were lovely hosts. We recommend booking for dinner so you can sample home cooking made and served with love - plus, a personally curated wine list to choose from! And breakfast was excellent as well. A quiet, peaceful setting too.

The Comfort Room in the separate Villa des Jardins was beautifully appointed with a large comfortable bed, quality linen and comfortable chairs. Quiet and very clean. Easy distance from train station and centre. Very helpful manager and staff. Excellent service and food in the restaurant for dinner.

The evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic! The room was simple but clean and comfortable and the atmosphere in the hotel was great with locals drinking at the bar and a lovely fire ( we were there in late October). We found it very welcoming and cosy and really appreciated the free lift in a minibus to Cheylard where we could resume the Stevenson trail in the morning. A big thank you to the staff for making it such a nice experience.
