The welcome was friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. The reception is full of antique cameras, a hobby of one of the family. The room was clean and up to date, but with lovely old school touches (the built in wardrobe had antique doors). Fantastic views across the valley. The food in the restaurant was superb, and excellent value for money. Breakfast was great, top quality ham and cheeses and unlimited coffee on tap. Overall the place has a really nourishing vibe, a haven of loveliness.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was nice with the most comfortable bed ever, and lovely big soft towels. Couldn't fault anything. We were also able to pop into the casino and restaurant which was an unexpected treat. The staff were amazing, we had the best time, and very tasty pizza.

This home (not a house) is literally a PIECE OF HEAVEN. Beautiful location, designed in a magnificent way and run by two lovely people. Even if just for one night and unfortunately on a business trip, this place has been for me a complete break from business and it threw me in a true moment of relax surrounded by an amazing landscape. The family suite was beautiful. Plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers. Breakfast was superb – with freshly-made pancakes, French toast and locally-produced jams. And the sauna and heated outdoor pool were ideal amenities after a long drive from the coast. Oliver couldn't have been a more hospitable and gracious host. He recommended a fabulous restaurant and reserved a table for us on request. On the morning of our departure, he gave us many local insights and recommended we visit Baume-les-Messieurs before we departed the area. Glad we followed his advice. That's a particularly enchanting little town.
