Situated on a steep cliffside, the village is pretty with plenty of places to eat and drink, and some interesting if rather touristy little shops. A pleasant place to spend an hour or two. This is a lovely village overlooking the Dronne river.
This is a lovely village overlooking the Dronne river. Main part of the village is at the top of a hill so expect steep slopes and lots of steps. Take time to do the tourist map recommended walk (available for free from the tourist office) around the village which has stunning views from various view points. You can do the village in half a day but we stayed in the village for a week and used it as a base to explore the region so we strolled down to the village square most nights which is really lovely with the bars and restaurants. Beware that out of season many of the bars/restaurants have restricted opening times and close on different days so it is important to plan ahead!!Guest review byJasonUnited Kingdom - 8.0
