Cathedral is great. The roman ruins are pretty good. The town is wonderful to walk around in. In the evening everyone was gone and the streets were quiet and wonderful. Clever conversion. Heating/ air conditioning explained and easy to control. Practical and stylishly kitted out - I wished I had had the time to cook. Everything worked. Nice shower room. It is just outside one of the Roman gates of Autun near the river Arroux. There is a charming garden to sit in with a water feature. You can have supper in the garden.
