Catherine, on reception, is incredibly helpful! She did so many little things to help. Wonderful. It's a lovely house on a gorgeous street, perfectly located. There's a lovely dinner place almost opposite.

    If you want a quiet stay in the Pyrenees with wonderful views and walks this should fit the bill. The hotel is typically Basque of considerable age. It is family run with modern facilities. We always go for the Comfort Rooms which are in a modern wing with views over the mountains. They either have a terrace or balcony with outdoor seating. They allow dogs.

    We loved it at the hotel. We randomly stopped for the last night of drive around the Basque Country and couldn’t have found a nicer place to stay. The setting was beautiful, the staff were great and the food wonderful.
