Hosts Nadege and Jerome were charming, caring and helpful in every way. They are obviously so proud of their delightful building and provide every comfort possible. We were made very welcome and much advice was given when asked. Our room was peaceful, large and very comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and would very happily return.

Our stay at Chez Norbert exceeded all our expectations for our trip. The room, decor and cleanliness 10/10. The bed was comfortable and we liked the small lounge area we had. The bathroom was huge! The stained glass windows told a story of local history and the beautiful courtyard was just coming into bloom. The breakfast provided by Sabine was something else! Local cheeses and delicacies, fresh fruit, fresh bakery products and homemade preserves. Plenty to prepare you for wine tasting in local wineries and vineyards.

The pension is in great location and the host is super nice and helpful. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfy and whe got everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with pastries, selection of cheeses and fruit. We had everything we needed and more.

    We visited in March, so a quite time of year.

    We visited in March, so a quite time of year. We chose Bergheim as we had travelled by train and bus from Basel. We could walk to a number of vineyards and wineries in and around Bergheim as also to Ribeauville, the nearest large village. Our favourite restaurant was Auberge des Lavandieres, where we ate traditional Alsacian food. A stunning unspoilt Medieval French Village!

    Lovely little town with a few good restaurants.

    Lovely little town with a few good restaurants. When we were there, the town seemed to shut down very early, with limited options to grab a drink or a light snack. The night our hotel's restaurant was closed, as well as that of their sister restaurant, the manager had to scramble to find dinner bookings for 5 couples who were on a walking tour. I highly recommend making advance bookings if you are to visit this village.

    Finding Bergheim was a happy accident for us.

    Finding Bergheim was a happy accident for us. We loved the town & all of the Christmas lights made for a wonderful night time walk. We had a lovely stay at La Cour Du Bailli- nice rooms, wonderful staff, & fantastic restaurant. We also walked a short distance away for a wine tasting at Halbeisen. Wonderful host & we purchased several bottles to take home. Would definitely recommend a stay here again!

    One of the nice old towns on the famous Route de Vins de...

    One of the nice old towns on the famous Route de Vins de Alsace. Small, cosy, surrounded by other small towns of equal beauty, and numerous vyneyards and fieldsm in autumn they are absolutely stunning scinery there. You can use Berghaim as one of the bases to travel around the route and visting various places around. We had dinner in one of the hotels restaurant, very good professional service, nice food, vines, it is called la cave du bailli. Parking is free on many streets and there is large public parking nexto the old tower.

    Very nice and friendly host, Catherine. Beautiful house and appartment at ground floor. Nice Pizza restaurant as a neighbour - no noise at all from here. Located in the center of Bergheim where we used it as a base for visiting local Winerys. We found easy parking close by. Highly recommended. Excellent breakfast that suited both my son and myself. Bread, Youghurt, crossiants, fruit, coffee, cheese, marmelade etc.

    The building and the village where the hotel is are very charming, our mini apartment was cozy and well equipped with everything we needed and the staff was always helpful. It was perfect for our stay as a family with very young children.
