    Small town with some shops. Some restaurants you can visit. We went for diner at restaurant L’AS DE TRÈFLE. Very nice and delicious but not cheap. The town is nice to see, a good place to start from to see the other d-day beaches.

    Bernières sur Mer is for us a special place as my father...

    Bernières sur Mer is for us a special place as my father arrived on Juno beach on D-Day. We always receive a wonderful reception. It is a very good base to visit all the local attractions and small towns especially in relation to the D-Day landings.

    La Maison Pelloquin is a masterpiece. It is all that one could wish for in a French chateau hotel; an incredibly beautiful house set in stunning grounds nestling in the heart of the Normandy countryside. The attention to detail that has been put into restoring this chateau, including the contents, is impressive.

    It is an absolutely stunning house. Beautifully decorated and has a relaxed charming atmosphere. Lovely beach nearby with great restaurants which we made use of the hotel bikes to get there. Delicious breakfast with friendly and informative hosts. Very memorable stay.

    Great location opposite a park & very close to the beach. Short stroll to restaurants & hotel. Also short drive to the supermarket that had everything. Good base to explore the Normandy beaches.
