We received a warm welcome from our hosts and the room I had booked was even more delightful than we'd expected. Nothing was too much trouble for Ana - even my boiled eggs in the morning were perfectly cooked! Delicious breads from a local boulangerie, ham, cheese, croissants, etc - all delicious and served in an a beautiful dining room with a terrace. There was a well-equipped games room (even a chess board set in a beautiful bay window) - the ornate marble fireplace has to be seen! We slept well - the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The grounds are delightful - in fact, everything was superb. We hope to stay again, perhaps in December to view the Christmas lights in Limoges and especially to see this lovely hotel decorated for the festivities. A sincere thank you, Ana and Michael.

The name sums it up!! A wonderfully quiet rural oasis. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, kitchen well equipped, and the owners June and Les were very friendly and helpful. There is an excellent pool for relaxation and cooling off.

The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything you would need to cook if you wish to. Lovely bakery around the corner within a minutes walk, so there is no need to cook if you do not want to. Also, it's very quiet.

An exceptional warm welcome, a huge bedroom, in fact, we had a whole floor for ourselves! Comfortable bed and excellent shower. Right in the centre of the beautiful village of Chateauponsac with secure parking on the property. We had a very warm welcome from Melissa and Paul, it felt like home! They helped us get a good pizza for dinner. Strongly recommended.

    I'm not sure as to why Brits expect tea / coffee facilities in rooms in France, in city style Hotels yes, but not in the country .I have had my Harrods travel kettle for 40 years, it's always in the suitcase with tea bags and long life milk, cups, spoon, and adapter, sorted!

    Room looked out on trees, quiet, friendly staff: we arrived very early and were given our room immediately - that made a big difference. The restaurant was good with very good service. Lovely walk along the river next to the hotel.
