We spent one night at this hotel and both found it was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in large or small anywhere in the world. Truly exceptional. The service is top class. The restaurant was friendly and served excellent food. The room was beautifully appointed and completely clean. The staff were both efficient and friendly and found out within minutes whether the nearby road over the Col de Tourmalet was open when we had failed to find the information ourselves.

A gorgeous property with a lovely combination of stately ageing and all modern necessities. Although it is worn in some respects, this adds character. The location is very good for exploring the town on foot, and a room with a view of the cathedral and square is particularly nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, beginning with the location: - The road leading to the location was comfortable and paved. - The apartment is situated in a peaceful area, surrounded by a beautiful forest with multiple hiking trails. The apartment itself was: - Cosy, functional, and clean. - It had a comfortable and spacious bed.
