Apart from Beynac-et-Cazenac is so beautiful and interesting place to stay there are lots of other things to do and see, such as visiting castles, hiking, taking a boat on a river, canoeing and just visiting other nice little towns and villages with an excellent views! It was a beautiful small town to relax in and there were also some lovely attractions. The Beynac Castle was the highlight and many chateaux are in the area. Beynac is a nice base for exploring the majestic Dordogne region. La-Roque-Gageac, Castelnaud, Domme, and Sarlat are all within 10 km or so, and Beynac itself is a lovely riverside village.
