This is an excellent property for an overnight stay in a small village fairly close to Fontainebleau (15 mins drive). The apartment is part of the owner’s residence, once you enter thru the front door of the residence, the apartment is a self contained suite off the foyer, it’s very private and quiet with the owners just a door knock away if needed. The suite has a king size bed, a sofa and dining table, and 3 large windows give pleasant views to the garden and street. The bathroom is well set up and has everything for an overnight stay. The suite has an immaculate presentation and it’s obvious the hosts know how to treat their guests. The included breakfast was quite terrific, croissants, baguettes, ham, cheese, jams, yogurt, fruit, tea & coffee. Nothing more was needed for us, all delivered at our preferred time on a mobile service to the suite. Despite other reviewers comments, there are in fact several very good quality restaurants within 5-10 mins walking. We dined at Sakura (Japanese) simply fantastic.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel de Londres in Fontainebleau. Everything was perfect—from the warm and friendly staff to the unbeatable location right across from the château. My room had breathtaking views of the château, was exceptionally quiet, and provided a truly relaxing atmosphere. Quite spacious too. Incredible breakfast worthy of a hotel in a much higher category eg proper fresh orange juice.We were not expecting such quantities nor quality even the vacuum packed meals in glass jars were super tasty. Hotel run on sustainable grounds including less staff but those who were there very helpful and kind.

Excellent location, friendly staff, and great breakfast We had a lovely stay! The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center, close to everything. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was both varied and delicious. The bathroom was spacious, bright, and very clean. There’s also a nearby parking garage, and hotel guests can get a discount on the parking fee. Highly recommended!

    A nice little village, small shops and a market on Sunday. Across the river there is a larger supermarket if needed. A short walk to the other end of the village is a lake with a beach and lots of outdoor facilities.

    Terrific breakfast. Big room. Hostess very accommodating, tied into local music scene and showed us to a concert that evening. We had just booked into Bois-le-Roi to be close to Fontainebleau and were pleasantly surprised by the entertainment and came out in the morning to a small but fun market set up in the square. Didn't even hear them setting up!
