    Boulazac has commercial trading estates which are useful for accessing supermarkets and petrol stations but not for tourists unless the accommodation is found on the outskirts where there are quiet and tranquil residential areas and semi-rural locations to be enjoyed. It is, however, very close to Perigueux with its tourist attractions and gastronomic cuisine. It is also well placed for visiting the Dordogne and all of its attractions by car.

    Hotel was amazing - newly re-furbished the welcome was amazing - Richard came and greeted us and showed us where to park and took our bags. The reception area and lounge were superb. Sadly we had dinner planner otherwise we would have eaten here - but we were offered an amuse bouche with drinks which were great. The staff were so helpful and attentive. Breakfast was great - a large array of pastries, fruit, bread and then eggs cooked anyway we wanted.

    I arrived at the hotel after 12am midnight. There was no staff to contact. The registration machine refused to accept my card or booking reference. It didn't give me my key number to stay in the room. I had to find other accommodation at 1am in the morning. I have stayed with the company before. I will need to be very desperate to stay again!

    This was our second visit to this hotel and again it didn’t disappoint. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again if the need arises. The room was very clean and had everything we needed.
