Situated in the most idyllic countryside, we found the holiday house even more beautiful than in the pictures! The interior was flawlessly designed and executed, everything was very clean and a lot of thought had been put into the details. The garden was wonderful and we enjoyed walking around in it. The views over the surrounding countryside were stunning and the horses grazing the paddocks were a lovely bonus. We found everything we needed, the kitchen was also very well-equipped. The nearest supermarket was 10 minutes drive away. The staff was very kind and helpful and we enjoyed the visit to the stables to see the horses. We wish to be back someday!

Our hosts were warm and welcoming. We rented Le Petit Columbier house.. It overlooked the lake. Seeing, talking to and feeding the resident Geese, Ducks and the baby ducklings was a real highlight and a bonus for us all. Great facilities available (eg BBQ's, personal outside spaces and lounge chairs)

We have enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Nice and peaceful area, great location close to the Utah beach, perfect breakfast and comfortable bed in nice bedroom with design bathroom. Staff is really helpful and friendly. The whole concept focusing on bio farming is great, you can also buy products from their home utah beef. Despite the fact we didnt use it - spa looks also amazing and we saw electric charges for the cars, that somebody may find very useful.

Unexpected. And Wonderful. This is a very unique place to stay. The hotel itself is in a building from the 1500’s and is part of an estate that the owner has been meticulously refurbishing. He and his wife are both very interesting people. They also have a wonderful Burnese Mountain dog. The building/hotel owner is an admitted enthusiast of WWII history. During war the building served as the headquarters for a German general and, after D-Day, for General James Lawton Collins. Part of the building now houses a very unique military museum (https://www.tripadvisor.ie/Attraction_Review-g608795-d25576850-Reviews-D_DAY_Collins_Museum-Sainte_Mere_Eglise_Manche_Basse_Normandie_Normandy.html). The bedrooms have all been recently decorated and are beautiful. Each room is named after a WWII general (Eisenhower, Bradley, Collins, etc.) Breakfast was terrific.

Beautiful property with lovely rustic design ( little French haven). The apartment is super clean and equipped in everything you need for a home away experience.Very quiet street and super comfy beds guarantee a good night’s sleep. The house is much bigger and better than the pictures. Big Carrefour supermarket 1 minut walk away! Secure car park and nice small garden. We loved it here and will recommend it to anyone! Thanks to the owner - a lovely and kind lady with great English!

    The D-Day Beaches and Bayeux and in easy reach.

    The D-Day Beaches and Bayeux and in easy reach. There is a fantastic small town on the doorstep with great local eateries. Brevands is close to good road networks but is far enough away to feel like you are in the middle of the countryside. We had a short 4-day stay so I would try and catch the ferry to Dieppe, Le Havre, Caen to shorten the trip from Calais.

    We drive over from Wales, and knew that nothing was within walking distance. Although the accommodation was in a great location to travel to where we needed to visit. The grounds are beautiful and you are welcome to walk around. The setting was tranquil and the gite was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and only a phone call away. I highly recommend
