The staff were friendly and very helpful. They gave us a good recommendation for an excellent restaurant within walking distance and information on visiting the old town. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty and I loved the make your own fresh orange juice machine.

Location was excellent with easy driving access to Dinan and St Malo and many other beautiful, historic places and coastal walks in Brittany and Normandy. Our room was lovely and very comfortable with thoughtful touches, and the gardens were a great place to relax. Breakfast included delicious home made goods such as yoghurt, preserves, honey, breads and fresh juice - great start to the day. Best of all was the hospitality with good conversation, wonderful suggestions for excursions and recommendations for cafes/restaurants. On my list of places to return to!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely house! Although the owner was out of town while we were there, we communicated several times via SMS. I always received a prompt, helpful and friendly reply. The key was easy to find in a lockbox at the front door. The reserved parking space is directly in front of the house. The entire house was very clean and comfortable, and seemed recently renovated. Although it is not that big, it has a very spacious feel to it. The house is decorated lovingly and is a nice alternative to staying in an anonymous hotel. It has the feeling of being in someone’s private home. There are unique and interesting decorations in little nooks and corners that we were still discovering after a few days in the house. In several places wood beams, and sections of brick and stone walls from the original structure were left visible, giving it a charming character. The bottom floor is an open kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen had everything we needed. The glass door and windows let in lots of light. In the corner is a bookshelf with some games and books as well as a guitar. Outside is a terrace with a large table and a grill. The middle and the top floor each have their own bedroom and bathroom. Both bedrooms have plenty of space for storing clothing and other items. Both bathrooms are large and have a separate room for the toilet, allowing privacy when sharing the bathroom. There is a shower in the bathroom on the top floor and a bathtub with a showerhead in the bathroom on the middle floor. The water pressure everywhere was very good. The middle floor has a small laundry room. The floor in the hallway on the middle floor is somewhat slanted, which gives the hallway sort of a funhouse feeling, but also added to the charm of the house. The floors in the rest of the rooms are level. In sum, we are very satisfied with our stay in this cozy house and would happily stay there again when visiting the area. We highly recommend it.

This place is out of this world. I would not normally give a rating of 10, but this one was flawless. The location is not central, but for us it was what we needed - a base to visit the many beautiful sites of Brittany. It is exceptionally equipped and we cooked-in a number of times. Sleeping arrangements were similar to 4/5* hotel standards. If location works for you and are looking for accomodation for a group of people, you cannot go wrong with this place.

What a treat - a beautiful space in a quiet village, well equipped for four people, with everything one might need. Impeccably clean, authentic, with comfortable furniture, including a huge bed in a closed off private area and a comfy sofa bed in the living area. The hosts made us feel welcome and ensured our top comfort.
