Easy to find, close to a main road. There is plenty of free car parking available. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet (if you keep the windows closed). The restaurant is a short walk to across the car park and it is extremely popular.

Hotel du Parc is every bit as grand when you get there as it appears in the photos. (Sometimes, hotels from this era can look a bit jaded in real life.) It is well maintained, beautifully furnished, and the rooms have genuine history, with famous people having stayed there. We dined in the hotel's restaurant and were not disappointed: the cuisine and service were excellent. So the hotel actually exceeded our expectations. And there's free parking on site, too.

OK, this is a two star hotel so don't expect the Ritz. The bedroom was great, more than big enough and the bathroom was spotless and looked pretty new. My room overlooked the main room but with the window closed you couldn't hear anything. The location is superb, directly in front of the train station and there is off road free parking. There is a supermarket just two minutes walk away. The breakfast was fine and buffet style so eat as much as you want. A great find.

    The parking was in the courtyard of the hotel, convenient to pack/unpack luggage and near to the entrance lobby. The room overlooked the courtyard and garden. ( we paid extra for the balcony that we could go out onto). The restaurant was next door within the property. The hotel was clean and included continental breakfast was fine. Great garden with many ‘wild’ areas to walk around, especially useful with our dog.

    Breakfast good. Unfortunately there is no possibility of a Sunday night meal at the hotel or anywhere nearby. However staff contacted a restaurant. 0.9km away and booked a table on our behalf, this was very good. Dog friendly hotel (plenty of grass areas) and like dogs at the restaurant they found for us.

    Great location for a stop over. Nice clean hotel in a quaint village right across the border. The hotel is close to the highway, easy to get to with ample parking. We just liked everything about it. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is great. Breakfast was lovely.

    A simple and very efficient hotel ideal for travellers on their way to a holiday destination. Good location for an easy approach and ample car parking. Reasonable breakfast and an attached restaurant with a great menu and good quality food.
