We received a lovely warm welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean . I loved the location, it was perfect for us, out in the country with lots of lovely animals around . Breakfast was fantastic, you couldn't ask for more. I struggle to sleep at night but I managed to get a good night's sleep and it really is unheard of that I sleep until my alarm goes off. We would definitely stay again .

The location suited us perfectly. Quiet and rural. The host was lovely, we don’t speak much French and he no English but we got everything we needed. The closest village Le Dorat is about 3kms away and not a lot of food options so prepare in advance to cook at the studio or book a restaurant or go to Bellac. The La Petite Fontaine bar in Le Dorat was very welcoming. It has new English speaking owners who were renovating but will be doing meals soon.
