Cahors is a nice little city.
Cahors is a nice little city. There isn't much spectacular to see or do, but it kept me busy for a day. The medieval bridge is nice, the cathedral was worth a visit, and it's nice to walk next to the river that encircles the city. Keep in mind, on Sundays, nearly everything is closed. Cahors is a lovely old town which was great for an overnight stop. However, don't go on a Sunday or Monday as most places are closed, especially in the old town which was the part we were mainly interested in. Had a fab meal in L'Auberge restaurant in the old part of the town. We had to google restaurants that were open Sunday evenings and this came up. Good bathroom and toilet. Also had a washing machine. Great location in the old town of Cahors, close to the cathedral, les Halles, restaurants, bars and Casino supermarket.
