It is a lovely town with very good restaurants. In the centre, there is the L'Imguimbertine, a library/museum, unique in France and very interesting, well worth a visit. Great for visiting the surrounding countryside, particularly the imposing and formidable Mont Ventoux; if you like open-water swimming in lakes, there are many possibilities near Carpentras, which is what attracted me there. The place is very well located in a beautiful and very quiet surrounding. The rooms are spacious with a lot of day light, clean and comfortable. There is a summer kitchen where you can use a fridge and plates. The garden is very nice and we had there a very relaxing time after a day of traveling.
