Simply superb. Owners are great, beautiful garden and nature surrounding the historic mansion and the silence everywhere. Health resort for your soul ;-) Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast prepared on agreed time, very tasty. Large kitchen is available with lots of dishes. The only downside was that I couldn’t stay longer. I definitely want to return there.

Love this hotel, my aunt and I stayed here for 2 nights and my brother joined us for the second night. The hotel accommodated him at very short notice. My aunt and I ate in the restaurant on the Saturday evening and the meal was superb. It is the second time I have eaten in the resurant as visit the area due to family living close by. The restaurant is closed after breakfast on Sundays. We found the nearest place to eat in the evening then was in Saint Junien a 20 minutes drive drive away. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Parking outside was free.

We really enjoyed staying in this cozy property, it had everything we needed and the host was really friendly. The location was also really stunning, we took a really nice walk along the roads and fields nearby during sunset.

The b and b was very warm and welcoming, very nicely decorated, clean and bright Juan was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. We were offered the use of his kitchen to prepare a simple evening meal. Breakfast was also very nice and plenty of choice too.

    Wonderful building having been in same family for many...

    Wonderful building having been in same family for many generations. Peaceful, mainly sounds of the birds. We were able to walk down to the river. Fantastic breakfast on terrace. Guest kitchen with all amenities. Only downside was that bathroom was tired looking, but fully functional.

    The room was very large, the bed long and comfy, the environment peaceful. The family couldn't be more accommodating, and you have access to a fridge, a freezer, cooking facilities. Several different places to sit outside mean you have a choice of brilliant views, and we were also serenaded by a cuckoo several times. Visiting the nearby Roman baths was a great trip, although finding a restaurant open, as well as good value and within a reasonable distance proved a challenge in May.
