Virginie is the most lovely host. We are in the process of learning French but she was gracious enough to speak English with us so we got to know her better. We highly recommend Clecy, it is quite sleepy in the winter but in the summer the activity on the river is fabulous. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast with lovely views and sounds of the river.

The setting was serene and lovely, and the home was immaculately restored and cared for. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The hosts were warm, kind, and helpful. Would visit again!

    The location was in a very beautiful and peaceful spot. The breakfast was an excellent and varied continental. Our hostess baked something delicious and sweet every morning and, I dare like to say, that the jams and marmalade were home made too. The breads were outstanding. The Manoir was within easy walking distance of some lovely restaurants by the River Orme and on the edge of a the lovely village of Clecy. I think, most of all, Natalie and Arnaud were the most friendly and generous of hosts and their kindness was limitless.

    We booked the hotel as a 'stop gap' in our sight seeing itinerary. It was pretty much what you expect from a golf hotel - functional . The best part was the restaurant, the food was lovely and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. There was a group of young gymnasts staying in adjoining accommodation at the hotel and they were incredibly well behaved and a delight to see. The hotel is situated in a quiet rural location - we took a very pleasant stroll in the evening past all the holiday Gites.

    The receptionist spoke English and greeted us with enthusiasm . The room was clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee. The breakfast was good. The hotel is close to bar’s restaurants and shops.
