Lovely little town we arrived just before the annual music festival to view a property for sale. Confolens is a pretty but small town.
Confolens is a pretty but small town. It is not great for restaurant choice out of season but we would stay in the area again as we found a nice place to eat and it was easy to walk into town from where we stayed. We only stayed two nights, passing through.
We only stayed two nights, passing through. Small town with few bars, cafes and restaurants, but quite sleepy with a lot of properties, sadly, boarded up. Still had charm about it. I really don’t want to review this gem of a place for purely...
I really don’t want to review this gem of a place for purely selfish reasons. Great hosts and a lovely building very convenient for the village. We stayed as part of a tour on motorcycles with a group of friends, there’s even a garage for the bikes. Had we known in advance we we would have stayed for a few days, however we will be back at some point. Try the honey while you’re there as well, it’s lovely.
