What a fantastic way to spend a night! The château du Boschet is well situated for a bike trip along the Vilaine and well renovated, which makes you feel like you are visiting the Louis XIV era! The hosts kindly opened their doors for us and we were able to visit most rooms and the beautiful french garden, which hides many gems. We were immersed in a historically and culturally rich environment for a night, which made us feel really special, thank you !

    Hotel Belair is a motel with individual suites in two blocks...

    Hotel Belair is a motel with individual suites in two blocks, load of parking secured by high fencing and electric gates at night. 5 minutes from the N137 but far enough to be quiet, and about 1 hour south of St Malo and 10 minutes from Rennes. It's my stopover of choice going south or north. The suites are always spotless, beds very comfortable and great walk-in showers. The staff are amazing, always friendly and welcoming. There is a very good restaurant attached to the hotel but check for opening times, not every day. The manager can arrange pizza delivery if required. Great value and great breakfast.

    The Bel Aire motel is a short, easy drive from the main road and has excellent sound proofing. Crevin is a large village/small town with few places to eat. We ate at the Auberge de Gentily's on the outskirts of Bain-de-Bretagne, some 11 mins drive away. Enjoyed wholesome and inexpensive meal with very friendly, helpful staff. The next night we ate at Le Brin de Bretagne in the same town. Le Brin offers excellent food with prices correspondingly higher, is located in the town centre and is open on a Sunday evening which the Auberge de Gentily's is not.
