As a cyclist on the EuroVelo 3 Coliwork Le Saint Romain is a perfect riding distance from Tours. and Chauvigny. I was really surprised at how little I paid to receive so much. The room was very clean, the shower easy and hot, the bed long enough and again very clean, the breakfast meaningful, with a proper coffee. The staff were very friendly and stored my bike in a vast barn, securely and with humour and good English. All for a very reasonable price. A five star stay.🙏🙏

Everything was great! Breakfast was amazing. We agree with all the superb reviews about the jam and bread. The hosts are very friendly and have a nice chat. A very special place that keeps the original taste of the castle. Surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. Time stops and you just enjoy the experience.

Lovely hosts who could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The property was charming with a very comfortable, clean & spacious family room. The swimming pool was an added bonus. The breakfast room was also very impressive as was the quality of the breakfast.

What a place, its that good you almost dont want to tell anyone and keep it for your self lol! TELL EVERYONE!!! 6 of us stayed there with 6 motorcycles, parking was super secure, Sara, Peter and their parents were brilliant we all had a great time. The gites were tiptop, comfortable, clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The whole place was safe secure and ideal for gatherings or an intimate stay, it has an outdoor pool which for us was a god send as we'd been travelling in the hot weather all day on our the bikes. Get your self here you will not be disappointed.

    The bedroom, en-suite bathroom, breakfast were perfect.

    The bedroom, en-suite bathroom, breakfast were perfect. The owners were very welcoming and made their home truly dog friendly. Perfect for a stop over when travelling and look forward to staying again. The restaurant nearby (La Pause Napolitaine) which our hosts booked for us had excellent food.
