The hotel is in a beautiful location and had a great view of the Harbour on the bar terrace. It is a short walk from the beach and there are lots of great restaurants nearby, including two under the hotel. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The staff are very helpful and responsive.

Friendly staff, lovely clean comfortable bed. Lovely linen, dressing gowns supplied. Nice coffee machine Our room was not ready on our arrival but we were given coffee and cake and did not have to wait long. Great restaurant next foor.

Stayed here in February. Rooms were simple but warm and clean. Good hot water too in the shower. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful. Hotel is a short walk from central Dieppe and the train station to Rouen.

Excellent and very nice staff. Very clean room. Great products for breakfast. Machine with very good hot drinks in restaurant (ristretto, espresso, double spresso, lungo, hazelnut, cafe au lait, chokyccino, hot chocolate, milk, hot water). Really beautiful place, it's perfect experience for french countryside, romantic and quiet. The location it's easy access by car, you can park close to the seaside (seems Saturday will be difficult). We need to drive 3km to get dinner, but all fine if you have car. The room it's clean, spacious for two, have coffee machine,hot water cooker, shampoo etc. walking distance to the coast with cliffs. Breakfast with high quality bread was brought to the bed by landlord, lovely. Good communication with landlords even if non-french speaking

    Dieppe has everything for a short break and lots of restaurants to choose from, The market is fantastic and the kite festival was on. Lovely long walk along the prom. The station is just ten minutes walk from the town and the harbour Is very picturesque.

    The cafés and restaurants all serve local fare, but if you're self-catering, the market and Carrefour shops in the centre have all you need to make some interesting meals. The little shops are excellent with lots of local souvenirs, but they're quite pricey. The castle is well worth a visit, including an amazing art gallery and information about the history of the Dieppe region. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area and some guides are available for interesting themed walks around the town. A pity the Pont Colbert is out of service as this causes lots of wasted time crossing the estuary.

    There are nice day trips to be done from Dieppe.

    There are nice day trips to be done from Dieppe. I went to the pretty resort of Le Tréport and went up there (free !) Funicular Railway for a magnificent view at the top. Then took a 45 minute train-ride to the beautiful historic city of Rouen on the river Seine.

    Chateau museum closed Monday and Tuesday. 6.5 euro admission charge, but worth visiting. Lovely 12-14 century church free to visit. Motor boat rides from the harbour approx 14 euros for about 45 mins out and back, but commentary only in French. Moules frites from about 15 euros at many restaurants. Cheap hot dog and burger stalls along the beach from 3.50 for a hot dog in french bread.

    An another day would have given us a chance to visit the castle. We arrived in the town in good time to find a cafe for breakfast but found it quite hard to find somewhere to eat. The large church seemed closed.. We did learn a bit about WW2 landings from the signs around the town.

    great for a short break we took the ferry as foot passengers as you don't need a car ,ferry goes right into town .15 -25 min walk into town restaurants everywhere, good prices, go on a Saturday and take a walk round the biggest market you've ever seen

    Coming back to the Aguado for the 5th time, was an absolute joy. We were given a wonderful warm welcome on arrival. As always the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. On hearing that I am facing major heart surgery, I was presented with a very thoughtful gift. Christine and the team at the Aguado, go above and beyond to make this the best hotel in Dieppe.We can't wait to go back next year.

    Great location after getting the ferry from Newhaven whilst doing the London-Paris cycle. Easy to find the hotel, super close to Avenue Verte. They let us keep the bikes in the room. There were a few cyclists doing the same thing. Super quick check-in. Great continental breakfast to set us up for the day! Did a little walk in the morning, Dieppe seems pretty nice around the harbour.

    Excellent location, close to the centre with its good choice of shops, excellent Saturday market and many many great restaurants and bars. Our stay coincided with France's Music night, Midsummer's nights eve, and parking is difficult but the kind receptionist allowed us to park on the hotel forecourt so as not to miss our dinner reservation at a restaurant.

    Everything about this little hotel exceeded our expectations. Our ferry was late, but the host was very welcoming. It’s a simple chain hotel but it was great. Breakfast fabulous choice, good service. Rooms were small, everything worked, we were very warm and comfortable. Good place to stop arriving in france
