We had cycled 170km from Briare in very high temperatures which set our expected arrival time back a few hours and our hosts were very understanding. Upon arrival in Diou (it was a Monday evening around 6pm) nothing in the village was open and our hosts drove to a neighbouring village to pick up a couple of pizzas for us. We are eternally grateful! We couldn't ask for more. The accommodation it's self was a self contained annex within the grounds of the main house. It was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed including facilities to wash our cycling clothes. We had a lovely evening sat outside eating our pizza in beautiful surroundings. We fully recommend Petit Mas Cosy if you are in the area but please note Diou is a small village and food outlets might be closed on certain days. (I think this goes for many villages in central France during the summer months)

Nice property with everything we needed, the host was amazing, very friendly, and explained everything to us, even brought umbrellas on the morning we were leaving during a storm, I would recommend and would definitely stay here again. Merci Marie.
