Lovely, small seaside town. Lots of restaurant choice - our favourite was Le Clos Lupin, typical French, family run restaurant. Great cooking - we also rated Les Bel Amis amongst others. The cliffs of Étretat are spectacular and definitely worth a visit, but note that lots of other people think that too! So there are crowds of people, tourists from all over the world in this small seaside town. Fantastic vue and beach with the cliffs. Garden amazing on the hills. But you only need a day for that. But too much people and too many tourists, Took away the charm. We spent one night in Etretat.
We spent one night in Etretat. We walked along the beach as well as climbed up the stairs on the cliff areas. We liked the views of chalked cliffs and English channel from above. The beach and its views are great. The place in itself is very touristic and not always as friendly for tourists as it should be. Car got towed away from a car park where I paid with 8 others since we missed or misunderstood the very small sign that there was a market the next day. Etretat is as great as it is on pictures, and even greater.
Etretat is as great as it is on pictures, and even greater. Go to the left for a long hiking on top of the rocks. Go to the right for the astonishing Jardin of Etretat. The city itself is also a remarkable nice small town with a lot of beautiful interesting buildings.Guest review byKNetherlands

The accommodation was just right to be honest and it was clean and tidy. The hotel is perfectly situated within Etretat. The other good thing is they do offer free parking within a ten minute walk to the hotel, which is perfect as parking is hard to find in the centre of town.
