    No outside sitting, window in room wouldn't shut, toilet seat not very secure, ensuite door catch broken. it was uncared for, lots of men coming in and out during breakfast, going behind serving area helping themselves and disappearing I didn't feel comfortable

    Impressive cathedral.

    Impressive cathedral. However, too many youths hanging & cruising around town centre, making it feel a little uncomfortable. Was getting a little too rowdy outside a kebab bar, that even the owner had to have a quiet word to move them on. And clear up after them. Be careful France!

    Great city. Beautiful architecture.

    Great city. Beautiful architecture. Great pedestrian access to all the important parts of the city. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and some very good artisan shops eg boucherie, booulangerie, fromagerie etc. Plenty of other shops if you want to buy gifts on the way home. All this just a three hour drive from Calais (by autoroute).

    This town was a suprising highlight of our journey although we only stayed for one night. It has one of the great cathedrals of France which alone is worth a journey. Though some of the outskirts are indifferent, the town centre is utterly charming with the most beautiful flower beds in abundance all over the town. It´s fascinating history goes back to the Romans and Celts!

    Stay away from this hotel. Total nightmare.

    Stay away from this hotel. Total nightmare. Rubbish thrown out of all windows, dirty and run-down rooms. It was like a staging post for Africans to get to the UK. Our room, unmade beds, someone slept in there the night. before. The only staff member we saw, couldn't care less. Gave us another room, sink blocked and full of urine. Staff member said he would sort it out in 5 mins. Never saw him again. No one from 4pm (staff) appeared to be in the building. No security, no main door locked at 10pm, car park not locked overnight. Very noisy, dirty, just awful. Couldn't wait to leave. Drug takers in the doorways. Utter nightmare. Never ever again will I use this chain of hotels.

    This was nicely between Versailles, Rouen (where properties...

    This was nicely between Versailles, Rouen (where properties seemed a lot more expensive) and Giverny (for Monet's Garden) so was a great base for discovering Normandy. Evreux itself exceeded expectations, with a vibrant restaurant scene, a beautiful cathedral and a tidy and well presented Town Centre. There was a multiplex cinema, theatre and Arts Centre.

    This was easily the best of all the budget hotels (4) we used on our recent travels. Staff were kind and helpful and my dog could stay for free. Complimentary hot drinks is such a nice touch and so welcome when you are travelling. Comfy bed, large hot shower and soap/towels. Best of all was the spacious room, so many of these hotels have NO room to move or store things. Will definitely stay again and look out for this chain.

    Comfortable and welcoming, We had enjoyable drinks and apero in the bar and a nice, large room. Slightly less choice for breakfast than when we have previously stayed but still above average for this level of hotel. Quirky decor gives the Greet a nice fun atmosphere. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the town centre.

    Our go to hotel now when we are enroute from UK to the Dordogne or vise versa. Lovely grounds, private parking, lovely staff with great communication. Comfortable and clean with lovely views. I would definitely recommend.
