This hotel has recently changed ownership and the new patrons are in the process of upgrading the facilities, and have exciting plans for the restaurant. We had an excellent stay, fantastic quality and value food and drink in the restaurant, and care and attention to detail from the owners, who could not have done more to welcome us and make us feel at home.

The place is immaculate. It has Everything you need and want. It's stylish and built to a very good standard. The area is relaxing, peaceful and beautiful. The host, Isabel is friendly, generous and kind. She regularly gave us vegetables from her garden and told us about many nice places to visit in the area.

Welcome was great, I was joining friends for dinner and breakfast, all sorted and a separate bill seamlessly made available to me Food and service was lovely. Large very clean room and bathroom - made me realise I probably rated previous hotel too high. This was steps above that a Thiviers

We loved our stay at this over 400 years old farmhouse that is immaculately well kept. We loved our host’s welcoming nature, we felt like visiting an old friend. Vivienne is amazing host. We loved to get to know her and her gorgeous golden retriever Rumba. We loved the fact that our host had her meals with us and we spent a few evenings talking and laughing about anything and everything over her delicious home-made meals which were incredible. We had no common language, but managed well with google translate. We learned a lot about French food etiquette and improved our French! We had lovely rooms and the amenities plus the wifi was sufficient. The house is in very quiet location, away from the nearest village at the end of a road and there’s only one neighbour plus farm animals. We came to cycle in this beautiful part of the World. It was an ideal place to start to our rides.

This is the perfect place to escape the city, the noise, and the crowds. A peaceful retreat where you can truly reconnect with nature. We absolutely loved the views, the path leading up to the house, and the beautiful, scenic surroundings. The host was amazing! incredibly friendly, helped us with staff, gave us great recommendations for places to visit and eat, and even brought warm breakfast in the morning when we were sleeping. It was a fantastic stay!

Functional overnight stop for 2 cyclists. Pool was welcome. Double bed was comfortable. Twin bunks are just off the hall…..more of a cupboard than a room but fine

This was the most enchanting and wonderful place we've ever stayed. So beautiful, natural and peaceful. We loved the rustic charm, the horses, and the forests. At night, the stars were mind-blowing! Our hosts were fantastic, welcoming, and so accommodating. We would travel out of our way to return, and cannot recommend this place too highly! Merci beaucoup!
