Dinner was excellent, I had the daily menu which was gourmet and tasty, breakfast was equally good so a superb restaurant with top quality attentive staff. My dog really liked her dog basket - perfect for her size.

great place to break the journey down to the alps. There is the choice between the Best Western , there superior rooms which you can park directly outside of are the best. There is also the chateau where the rooms are as you’d expect from a chateau very old fashioned & ornately decorated, However the bathrooms are modern and seem new. The chateau has a very nice gourmet restaurant, and the are two further restaurants to choose from next to the Best Western. both are very good normally. but sadly on this stay, we had very poor service in the Vasco de Gama restaurant, that was apparently because they were very short staffed. we had had many pleasant Experian es there over the years, so we won’t let that put us off, everyone can have a bad day at the office! Overall it a high quality place to stay with secure parking, a great place to unwind after a long drive.

    Adequate for an overnight stay but generally poor maintenance of the hotel and the Premier Classe Group. We first stayed in Premier Classe Hotels 32 years ago when they were very new but they haven’t kept up with modern standards. OK for a very, very cheap stay but always remember that it is cheap and will not be at all up to standard.

    Fouquieres-les-Bethune is easily accessible from Calais via the A26 autoroute. It is a good base from which to explore the former coalfield (le Bassin Minier) - a very distinctive and historically important district within Northern France.

    We have photographs of our Grandson covered in Bed Bug bite's. Initially we were told that we were lying but the sight of the photographers caused a quick change of mind. No apology ! and I hope a senior member of your staff has had a few words with this junior member of your organisation.

    It was a very good place to stay if you plan days out by car...

    It was a very good place to stay if you plan days out by car because there's plenty of parking and the room was comfortable to sleep in. However, the TVs will only work for French stations and the food was not up to scratch compared to other hotels.

    Don't prepay for breakfast. It is extremely limited. Bread and jam. The hotel is cheap and this is what you get. It's noisy at night because of the freeway. Our room had flies and a big spider. The shower was TINY so I didn't take a shower there. I won't return. The bed was ok for me. But I won't return .

    The receptionist was VERY helpful. Originally we intended staying for 3 nights - but for various reasons we had decided to shorten our holiday in northern France. She sorted all our bookings out - which was very much appreciated. We like the Campanile hotels and this one was the usual good standard.

    close to main routes and good choice of eateries around just a few minutes walk away. Fanny the lady who checked us in was most helpful. she was fantastic during the evening serving food and drinks and clearing tables a real asset to the hotel.
