I have booked this hotel a few months in advance because I wanted a hotel with SPA and close to the lake. 🤩🏞 Location 📍: The hotel is very well placed at the shores of Gerardmer Lake. It is easy to find on the way, it is very well placed, at a walking distance from shops, restaurants, and other interest points. Facilities 🛏 : The hotel offers nice cozy rooms with or without view to the lake. I have chosen a room with a stunning view to the lake and mountains 🏞. In the room you have a small fridge, a kettle, shower, toilet, and balcony. In the hallways, you will find water dispensers. The hotel has a private parking space 🚘 and a heated pool. You will receive a nice card holder with the access card for the room, the password for the internet, and the code to enter the building after 23:00. Extra services🪔: the hotel offers SPA services (sauna, hamam, jacuzzi🛁) for an extra charge and with reservation🕔. They also offer massage 👐 or beauty services through an external provider. You can also choose to take breakfast 🥞🥖🥚🍶☕️there for an extra charge. Every service that you opt for will be paid at the end of your stay. 👍👏 You can also choose to have dinner at their restaurant Cote Lac, whose menu📋 you will find in your room. The staff 👧: I have found the staff very respectful, helpful, welcoming, and ready to help with any information. They are always present at the front desk for any issue or question that you might have.👏👍🙏 After spending 3 nights there, I have to praise the quality of services (room, view, pool, spa), the kindness of the staff, and the quality and taste of the food served for breakfast that is produced there.

    Complete escape and change of scenery.

    Complete escape and change of scenery. A must visit for forest-bathing experience, breathtaking views after each hike, the calmness of the lake in front of you is a formula for a tranquil weekend stay. And don't forget their natural bonbons and riesling wine!

    Beautiful region for walks, skiing and with a large sport hall with tennis courts, swimming pool, sauna, bowling and climbing walls. Great wellness in the hotel. Beautiful walk to two large waterfalls. Great activities. Also worth to visit Colmar.

    Gerardmer is in the beautiful and dense pine forest of the Vosges. It is perfect for hiking, whether it be short and easy around the lake or hard and rocky up the mountain to visit the observation tower. Water falls and isolated villages are abundant. On the shores of the lake is a nice park and playground for young children and the San Remo Italian restaurant in the town was excellent for young and old.
