A house with history in with long family tradition. Although over 100 years old, one does not have the feeling that a renovation backlog in any form is present. Well maintained, furnished with great taste and harmony. This charming bedding alone does not give the impression of gimmickry - it just fits. The entire team up to the senior chef impeccable, super friendly, attentive but not closed, gives you the feeling of having arrived. The food a dream of surprises. The Ceasar's salad alone, house style, is killer in the absolute positive. Never before have I eaten such an interpretation - sensational! The main course more than impeccable and a charming Desert gave us the blissful rest.

    Complete escape and change of scenery.

    Complete escape and change of scenery. A must visit for forest-bathing experience, breathtaking views after each hike, the calmness of the lake in front of you is a formula for a tranquil weekend stay. And don't forget their natural bonbons and riesling wine!

    Beautiful region for walks, skiing and with a large sport hall with tennis courts, swimming pool, sauna, bowling and climbing walls. Great wellness in the hotel. Beautiful walk to two large waterfalls. Great activities. Also worth to visit Colmar.

    Gerardmer is in the beautiful and dense pine forest of the Vosges. It is perfect for hiking, whether it be short and easy around the lake or hard and rocky up the mountain to visit the observation tower. Water falls and isolated villages are abundant. On the shores of the lake is a nice park and playground for young children and the San Remo Italian restaurant in the town was excellent for young and old.

    The view from this apartment is stunning - right over the Lac de Gerardmer. It is on the road down to the centre of Gerardmer and although the road is steep, for mobile people it is easily walkable to the Lake (around 1.5km). The three of us fit very comfortably in the apartment which is very well kitted out. The terrace is big and we were able to enjoy our meals outside. Olivier was a great host and on hand if we needed him.
