This Chambre D'hote is only about 400 yards from the medieval centre of this small town which has a good choice of restaurants, bars and shops, as well as interesting historical buildings. Our hosts were really helpful in pointing out all the numerous attractions in the town and in the surrounding area. There are plenty places to walk or cycle, the beach is not far and we loved a trip on the marais on a flat bottomed boat. We saw a lot of wildfife and our leader told us local history of the area. For us it was a great find as we hadn't visited this area before. The market on Saturday had the most amazing fish stall as well as all the other french delights.Guest review byCarolineUnited Kingdom

The room is gorgeous with lovely added touches. Breakfast was delicious; home made yoghurts, pancakes and jams. We only stayed one night as a stop over, so we ate in a crêperie, recommended by Karine, which was within the walled city and very close. There were plenty of bars, crêperies and restaurants here. Location could not have been any better. If you're thinking of visiting don't hesitate. Plus this provided an ideal place for visiting the nearby La Baule, Le Croisic and the Parc of Briere. We were given secure space to park our motorcycles. The room was very comfortable and also had a kitchenette. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety.
