A beautifully restored old house with excellent rooms and a superb pool and gardens. Our room was huge and comfortable. There is a communal area where an honesty bar operates, covered parking, a very quiet area at night and the nearby town (1km away) for restaurants or shopping ! The hosts are very friendly and welcoming with excellent restaurant recommendations !

Fabulous place. There are only 3 bedrooms so the chateau is very peaceful. The breakfast was lovely and made fresh for us. Relaxing around the pool with it's incredible views was the highlight for us. Guest have access to plenty of spaces so you feel very free at the chateau. Of the 4 nights we were away, in different places each night, the chateau was our favourite stay. The peace and tranquility make this a perfect place to relax. Despite it's rural location the local restaurants were amazing.

We really enjoyed staying in this house. It is a quiet and peaceful place, offering respite from the noise of the city. The house is densely surrounded by flowers and plants, which provide shade and make the temperature very pleasant despite the high temperatures outside. The house is large and spacious. The furniture is interesting, like a beautiful collection from different corners of the world. We also enjoyed the surroundings, where our dog liked to run around freely. The owner of the house is very nice. We had a nice time staying in this place. The city of Perpignan is not far by car, and we like to go there to buy quality natural cosmetics. We also love French food. The pool offers wonderful refreshment on hot days.

    Ille-sur-tete is a typic small French village.

    Ille-sur-tete is a typic small French village. The key attraction is a geological feature of limited interest for me. However, the location is great. It is in easy striking distance of the city (Perpignan), the high mountains (Font-Romeu), sandy beaches (St-Cyprian) or rocky coves (Coulliore), as well as innumerable historical and cultural venues. In sum, it is a great place to use as a homebase to explore everything that the Pyrenee Orentals has to offer

    Beautiful location, overlooking the Orgues d’Ille-sur-Têt. Very spacious apartment, with good shower and comfy beds (although not the main bedroom which has a wiggly bed). Friendly welcoming by host and dog.
