André and Martine are a golden couple. They will do everything they can to help you. Room itself is compact, all basic necessities are there. Nothing more to expect. My folding bike could be stored perfectly. WIFI : Good / Mobilephone connection there : Poor. Breakfast : Tasty, with good coffee. It's like staying with family, Uncle André and Aunt Martine.

A classic French country hotel with truly great food. Although this place has had a somewhat insensitive refit both in the restaurant downstairs and in the rooms, it still retains some of the things I love about these places. The host clearly loves the hospitality business, I had one of the better meals of my whole trip here. They do a pretty extensive aged beef menu, not my bag, but if you are into that, this looked the business. The floors upstairs are pleasingly wonky, unfortunately the old boards have been covered in heavy duty vinyl, but I could imagine what it would have been like underneath. My room had a recently remodelled bathroom which was great.

While cycling through Belgium and France with a group of friends, we found a lovely stop: Ribeaufontaine. It is a peaceful place, far away from noise and stress. From the moment we arrived, we felt calm and welcome. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, each with its own style. Not like the big hotels where every room looks the same, but warm and personal. After a long day on the bike, it was the perfect place to rest. For dinner, we invited a local restaurant to cook for us. The food was simple but very tasty. Breakfast the next morning was also great – fresh bread, local products, and plenty to eat. At night, we enjoyed a beautiful sky full of stars. Without city lights, it was like we could see every single one. If you want to relax, enjoy good food, and see an amazing night sky, Ribeaufontaine is a place you should visit.

Fantastic apartment. Beautifully presented and with every facility you could want. Easy entry system, plenty of parking and in a great village setting. My son was riding the Paris Roubaix cycling challenge starting in Busigny the following day, so it was a perfect location for us the night before. We will definitely book again.
