The Villa is located in the forest, along a hiking trail, with their own pond in front of the house. The Villa is more than a century old but recently remodelled and all rooms are newly done with private bathrooms. The hosts are invisible until you need them and are very knowledgeable of the region and will gladly help with planning activities, including making restaurant reservations (which is not always easy with larger groups) and day trips. Free on-site sauna!

Excellent location for sightseeing in the Vosges and the Alsace. Nice quiet location and the rooms are simple but comfortable. Excellent showers. Had breakfast and evening meal and the food was simple and very nice. Good local wines. very helpful and friendly owner.

    Chose this place as an overnight on drive from UK to Lake Garda… A very well run boutique hotel with a fantastic out of the way location. Fantastic food from the husband/wife team. Wife is the chef and she knows how to cook local ingredients. Well worth a stop, even if slightly out of the way. Comfortable rooms and great friendly service

    The room had a new bathroom with large walk in shower. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional with a fresh spread of all foods. The dinner choice was more than adequate, with very good service. This hotel has undergone many upgrades since last year and done very tastefully.

    Very nice and helpful owners. Hotel surrounded by nature with super view. Very good breakfast and dinner. Many hiking trails in the neighbourhood. The combination of the above made our stay successful.

    Owners were great. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Arrived after a long hot day on the motorbikes and were served cold beers straight away. Food was great. Very quirky hotel, with a bit of history.
