The location is absolutely superb. The room was spacious, with a very big and comfortable bed. Every detail was thought out carefully and selected of premium quality. It was very peaceful and quiet and we had a wonderful stay. The food is a delight, have local produce and we had some snacks and drinks at the bar in the evening of our arrival. In the morning we headed downstairs and we were greeted by wonderful Claire that makes the best hot chocolate. The continental breakfast had so many delicious treats and options. The ambiance music was classic piano which it was so serene. Later on we had lunch in the terrace, which was exquisite whilst enjoying the sunshine. A must try is the feta with grilled peaches. A very good vibe, great surrounding atmosphere and Frank Sinatra in the background adding to the charm.The staff were so helpful and welcoming. Claire and Jean Claude were the best- chapeau! We met the owner of the hotel and he is very friendly and approachable. Thank you for such a great experience in a magical place. No doubt we shall be back.

It is set in idyllic and peaceful surroundings in a quiet village set against mountainous background.     Everything was perfect The welcome we received The Service from the Family who run the Hotel The Chef produced the most Amazing stunning dishes and we liked how you do not know what your getting its a surprise Menu!! The tastes and Quality of the food were 10/10 A huge thing for me was how they ask about Allergies / Intolerances this is so Important The Whole Family made us very welcome and so Friendly A lovely few days in a Beautiful Spot Thankyou See you in Apricale !! 🤗

    When we first checked our room was very cold and no heat was turned on. The chef/manager moved us into a larger heated room. Very happy ! We are in France on a cycling trip and we chose to stay in La Bastide because of its central location. We also stayed because we had been there 11 years ago and remembered the restaurant fondly.
