La Brigue is one of many historic villages of the French Maritime Alps. It is small but we found it quite charming. We came here to hike, so from that perspective it was great. The hotel did arrange altetnative accomodation for us in two different hotels for the two different nights. Both of the alternative hotels were of a poor standard but were the only other hotels in La Brigue. The area is gorgeous and you can hike all over. It's a really beautiful area. The bathroom has a small shower but overall I can only recommend.
