We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfectly clean, cozy, and welcoming from the very first moment. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing, with great attention to detail that made us feel at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is ideal — close to the main sights, restaurants, and shops, yet quiet enough to relax peacefully. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would be happy to come back again.

Great location, only 10-15 walk to port area and all that has to offer. Comfortable beds, great night's sleep was had. Spotlessly clean throughout. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pizza's!!

The communal areas were very chilled and spacious and extremely kid firendly with loads of games, a pool table and baby foot for free use for guests. Situated a 10minute walk from town we were very happy. All staff very friendly and we were able to avail of a discount for the multistory parking beside.

Location was 100%. Breakfast was far more than we expected it was lovely food was replenished all the time, pure orange juice machine, lovely breads and pastries. Bedrooms were spotless, mattress cover was a plastic type which we removed. Need to replace duvets with summer togs they were lovely but very warm. Free tea and coffee facilities at reception area which was a lovely gesture. All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

    Great location, something for everyone.

    Great location, something for everyone. A historic port city with lots of fortifications, history, architecture, culture, fabulous scenery, great walks, lovely beach, and an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops all contained in a safe walkable city. I would highly recommend La Rochelle for a long weekend 5 - 6 days with one day spent traveling Ile De Re (St. Martin)

    Only had time to stay one night but could happily have stayed longer. The old town is lovely to walk around and many of the buildings are stunning. We were there in high summer so it was quite busy with tourists but there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Great atmosphere to the town.

    Loved this city. Very vibrant but relaxed at same time.

    Loved this city. Very vibrant but relaxed at same time. Spent four nights and this was probably enough to see most sights. Spent lots of time just wandering around. Saw aquarium, bunker, cathedral and spent day on Ile d'Aix. This was highlight of trip.

    We were very happy that any time we needed advise or suggestion everyone we met was extremely helpful and even when we missed the last bus to return to the hotel late sunday night we were invited to sit in lobby of waterfront hotel as they called a taxi for us. Very good memories.

    Mc nultys Irish pub , run by Noel mc nulty is a wonderful place to meet lovely people and have some fun . We happened across a live Irish trad session with the great Maurice Lennon in tow ( of stocktons wing fame ) An authentic Irish pub where u will have a night to remember . Hotel marine at the port where we stayed was fab ! I wouldn’t bother with the restaurants at the port . Nicer food down the streets off the port . A fantastic place you have got to visit . Like us u might keep going back !!

    We have been to La Rochelle 4 times twice with our children...

    We have been to La Rochelle 4 times twice with our children and twice as a couple and we absolutely love it, there are so many fabulous places to eat and it is more affordable to eat out than in Ireland. We have always felt very safe there. This was our first time there in September and we were unlucky with the weather but we will definitely return during the summer months ❤️

    Nice budget hotel very central to all things in La Rochelle and right beside the beautiful food market. New owners are going to upgrade it. Our stay was for a rugby game and the staff could not have been more helpful.
