    Nadège was very understanding about my last minute booking. It was not particularly convenient for her, but together we sorted out the essentials. A very cute little space, clean & cosy. If I hadn’t been incredibly tired & unwell from my long voyage, I would have enjoyed more the centre ville vibe. A bit noisy being so close to everything. But off-season, La Souterraine is well worth exploring. Merci Nadège, à bientôt, Robyn.

    What a little gem of the hotel we found! Visiting friends in a rural area this was 15 mins drive from them so ideal for us. It was lovely and quiet. The hosts were wonderful, very attentive and even had a delicious dinner ready for us when we arrived later than expected. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and there was a good choice of cold and hot selections.

    Well priced, comfortable, lovely welcoming and friendly host and well located, a short walk from the town centre. Good breakfast in the morning too. Ample parking available at the property, Just remember that you’re staying in a spare bedroom in the host’s house, not a hotel, but don’t let that put you off.

    The room was small as advertised on Bookings.com but we were placed on the top third floor when the hotel appeared to be very empty . The room and hotel had no air conditioning so with 40 % heat it was difficult to sleep
