    It's quite a small town, very pretty with nice little shops.

    It's quite a small town, very pretty with nice little shops. The castle appears right in front of you as you enter the town centre, very imposing and beautiful. We did the tour of the castle which has a very interesting history. Had lunch at a nice restaurant on the terrace in the Square.

    The place is located in the best part of the little romantic town of Langeais. It is as overwhelming as the town itself. We had the spaicous loft on the top floor, over 80 sqm in size, with full size kitchen and gallery for additional beds. Equipment was amazing, views on both sides of the house, also on the castle. Host very friendly, everything stylishly decorated and very clean. Breakfast delicious with personal touch of the host as well. They also have locked garden where you can keep your bikes, also parking for cars is right next door.

    The late medieval castle was renovated and now the owners face the complex decisions at each step of what period to establish. They have chosen to return the 19th century portion to the 19th century (three cheers for large windows). Looking forward to some day in the future when a taste of the early part of the manor may emerge, as well. Cleanest room I have had in years (cleaner than luxury hotels).

    Fabulous quality room, with spa bath, private terrace and every luxury. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen of high quality. A delicious breakfast with home made Reine Claude greengage tarts as an extra treat. Madame also showed us the cave underneath the house where the people of Langeais hid people in the war. An exceptional standard for Bed & Breakfast.

    Jessica was very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was close to the chateau and the center of Langeais. Safe storage for our bikes in her cave on site. We had everything we needed and we were happy with the accommodation, including the outside seating area which was a great place to sit with a glass of wine.

    Beautifully equipped and clean. Host was very welcoming. Covered area for eating out and sitting in the shade. Air conditioning very welcoming when the temperature reached 36 degrees. Ideal for walking into Langeais and central for driving to other chateaux and vineyards.
