I was fascinated to learn more about the area’s history in WW2… and to discover the narrow gauge steam railway which runs through the town every Sunday. This village saved 2000 to 5000 refugees during WWII.
This village saved 2000 to 5000 refugees during WWII. They continue to shelter refugees. There was also important Resistance activity. And they don't talk about it. But there are wonderful museums about that era. We have a lot to learn from these humble people.Guest review byHermanUnited States
