Excellent location, amazing food and fantastic staff. Just a wonderful hotel right in the beach. Ideally placed for exploring the local area too. All in all we had a fantastic few days and will undoubtedly return in the future.

We had a room half looking the sea and half the garden. It's a good size room with a balcony protected from the wind. The bed is big and comfortable with a menu of cushions. Everything is clean and well organized. Free parking lot and great walks are just the bonus.

This is a warm and welcoming family run restaurant with rooms. Lovely staff, room exactly as expected for a be money, excellent restaurant with a calm and relaxed atmosphere and excellent menu. Location unbeatable. We loved our 2 nights there and enjoyed dinner in the restaurant both times

    The good: Flamingos! Miles of beaches.

    The good: Flamingos! Miles of beaches. Great places to go walking. Amigoland, though expensive, is fun for kids of all ages - even those in their forties. You can rent motorboats and jetskis in town. For connections, its not far from Montpellier or Marseille. The bad: Restaurants are poor in LGdR. From French to Italian to Asian they all disappointed. Mosquitoes are tenacious all around this area due to miles and miles of open shallow water. Personal verdict: go somewhere else instead.

    The property was a little tired, Im glad I took my own bedding and towels. I am used to staying in 5 star hotels and whilst I knew this was far from 5 stars, I was disappointed to find plastic sheets on the beds. It so reminded me of an out dated Butlins holiday camp room

    there‘s a lot of things to do like go shopping or eat there,...

    there‘s a lot of things to do like go shopping or eat there, bathe, go to the amigoland and accept your death (-> adrenalin), go to the „plage de l‘espiguette“ but we wouldn‘t recommend walking if you’re not dangerously suicidal, since the heat will burn you alive in the 2h you need to get there - rather borrow a bike and ride it together.

    A very pleasant Meditteranean resort, plus the inhabitants...

    A very pleasant Meditteranean resort, plus the inhabitants are friendly and welcoming. Access and parking are easy. Not sure about the food. It's good, if not inspiring. Le Grau-du-Roi is not a gastronimic destination, but that's not a reason to avoid it. The place is such a pleasant destination.

    The hotel is immaculate. A family run business, which is evident by the care and attention to detail that they offer in both the facilities and personal service. Situated in a quiet street very close to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was a traditional continental style served with excellent quality patisseries, fruit compote, juice, confiture, cheese and fresh fruit and excellent value.

    Very clean, well equipped, quiet most of the time (there is music at night from a restaurant nearby for a couple of hours only). Beach, 5 minutes walk. Shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries 5 minutes walk. Grau du Roi 30 minutes walk.

    Beautiful camping, very green with lots of trees. Near the beach (with pretty sunsets) and aquagym in the evening in the Pool. Renting a bike is helpful, also explore the surrounding. There are extra bikelanes also in Grau du Rois.
